Hello! My name is Donna. I have lived and worked in different parts of England, Wales and Scotland at various times. I teach English and Humanities subjects remotely, and have done so for over 5 years; although I have worked within an educational environment for more than 15 years. Throughout this time it has been a real privilege to help students progress and reach their full potential. I personally love learning and reading, and get excited about exchanging new ideas and thoughts with my students. I hold a Bachelors Degree in teaching English Education, with TESOL as my major and Primary School Education as my minor. I am also finalising a BA History with Honours degree as a second degree through The Open University. I have always had a fascination with History, especially ancient history and archaeology. I believe that History is an important subject, as it not only created our past but will also help to define our future too. As a person I love animals, photography and outdoor activities, such as walking and kayaking. I enjoy travelling and have had the opportunity to visit many wonderful places throughout Egypt, Europe, and America. I am a qualified Rescue Scuba diver and have dived in some great areas. Wherever I go, I always try visit local historical sites and see local cultures I hold a Bachelors Degree in teaching English Education from the United States Institute of Language and Clerical Studies. I graduated Cum Laude (Distinction/Honours) with Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages as my Major, and Primary School Education as my Minor. Throughout all of this time it has been privilege to help students progress, and obtain improved grades. I have supported KS1 to KS4 students in Humanities subjects; such as Geography and History, as well as Science, and English. Along with this I have assisted and guided students while they prepare for their Functional Skills assessments and exams. Further, I also support ESL students with exam preparation. In the classroom, my goal has always been to inspire students so that they can gain confidence in their subjects. My classes are always fun and engaging. Students learn at different paces and in different ways so often need time to understand what they are learning. Therefore, I patiently use a variety of teaching materials to consolidate concepts, ideas and dates. These are then reinforced through in-class practice. Mini class quizzes identify areas for additional support, and exam preparation help students feel comfortable and better prepared when it comes to taking their all important exams and tests.

Experienced primary school teacher with 8 years experience. I currently teach year 6 however, I have taught in years 2, 3 and 5 in previous years. My favourite subjects at school were maths and PE and I absolutely love teaching those subjects now. My hobbies are running, reading and listening to podcasts.

Hello! My name is Blessy and I am currently a third-year medical student with over six years of tutoring experience, including three years on the GoStudent platform. Outside of academics, I enjoy going to the gym, watching films and crocheting in my spare time. Alongside tutoring, I also lead teaching sessions for other medical students at my university, which has strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly and adapt to different learning styles. I take a patient and supportive approach and am particularly experienced in working with students who may feel shy, lack confidence or struggle with focus, helping them feel more comfortable and engaged in their learning! I tutor Maths, Physics and Further Maths A level, and Maths and Physics at GCSE. I had 3A*s at A level. I am currently studying Mathematics at the University of Bristol. This is a 3 year program. I love Maths and Physics because the elements can be applied to real life e.g. throwing a ball.

Hello! My name is Lisa Rose Mc Mahon and I am a Primary Teaching student from Ireland. I specialise in music education and I love everything related to music, drama, performing and art! My hobbies include reading, going to the gym, singing, dancing and performing in musicals and shows.

I am someone who loves to learn new things, especially when it comes to cultures and languages, so much so that during lockdown I taught myself Turkish. I can speak 3 languages fluently, (English, Farsi and Turkish) and am currently studying two languages at degree level (Spanish and French) and have completed my year abroad.

Hi, I'm Toluwa! I am currently in dental school. I enjoy teaching the sciences and maths up to GCSE level, as well as A-level Biology and Chemistry. I really enjoy staying active through netball and gym, and I also love to cook and travel in my free time. I look forward to teaching KS1-2 Maths and Science 11+ GCSE Maths GCSE Science - Biology, Chemistry and Physics (Combined Science/Trilogy included) I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels at top grammar schools, and I was able to achieve A* in Biology, A in Chemistry, and B in Mathematics at A-level. I am now studying Dental Medicine at university, where I continue to build on my strong science background.

I am a South African student studying Politics and International Relations in London. I am patient, warm and have experience tutoring as well as assisting in classrooms. I have a love for English and History, which is why I am offering to tutor students in these subjects.

I have been a tutor since early 2020, when I started this career choice alongside working in the NHS as a mature student nurse at the University of Sheffield. I later went on to make this my full-time career, and in this time have worked with over 300 students, both long term and short term, of all different ages. I have worked both through agencies, and privately, with most of my students being referred through word of mouth. I work primarily with children in Year 5 and 6 in maths, and also children who are preparing for their Grammar School 11+ exam. However, I cover maths, English and science up to Year 8 level, 11+ exam preparation, English as a second language (for adults and children), and home schooling for primary school children. I am a member of MENSA, and I have achieved this because I work very routinely and am able to break things down into step-by-step techniques. These techniques are passed on through my tutoring, especially in maths, and I have had great feedback and results from this. I am very passionate about my career, as I love to educate others, and I believe it is so important to be a good role model and inspiration to young people, to drive them towards wanting to achieving their goals in life. My background is in healthcare, where I studied at the University of Sheffield (Adult Nursing BMedSci). I have also studied Diagnostic Radiography (BSc) at Sheffield Hallam University. I have an Access to Higher Education certificate in Health Sciences where I gained a qualification which included A-Level standard Biology, Chemistry and Maths, and AS-Level Physics.
