Ann A.
Hi! I’m Ann — a second-year medical student who loves painting, reading, and (recently) horse riding. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning new things, but I also understand how tough studying can feel when you’re stuck, stressed, or unsure where to start. That’s a huge part of why I tutor — I want to make learning feel lighter, clearer, and way less overwhelming. I’m not the type of tutor who just reads off a screen or throws information at you. I like to explain things in a simple, friendly way, break topics down into small steps, and make sure you actually understand the idea, not just memorise it. Everyone learns differently, so I always adjust the pace and style to whatever works best for you. If you’re someone who loses motivation, gets anxious about exams, or feels like certain subjects just “don’t make sense,” don’t worry — I’ve been there too. We’ll work through it together until you feel confident. I’m patient, supportive, and I’ll never make you feel bad for not knowing something. That’s literally what I’m here for. I really want my students to feel comfortable, motivated, and proud of themselves. I love seeing someone go from “I don’t get this at all” to “wait… that actually makes sense now!” It’s the best part of tutoring. If you’re looking for someone who will help you learn in a relaxed, encouraging way, I’d love to work with you. Let’s make studying feel manageable — and maybe even enjoyable. I achieved all A* in chemistry, biology and maths at GCSEs, and an A in biology for A-level through my time as a student I developed effective study techniques, which I use to support students in their learning. I am now a second year medical student.

Hi, I’m Arthi, a medical student at Queen Mary University of London with a strong passion for teaching. I specialise in tutoring Biology, Sciences, and Maths at all educational levels, and I’m committed to helping students build confidence, improve understanding, and reach their academic goals. My teaching is calm, structured, and adapted to each student’s pace and learning style. I completed both the IGCSEs and the IB Diploma, gaining a solid grounding in scientific and quantitative subjects. These programmes taught me how to break down complex ideas clearly — something I bring directly into my lessons. I also have experience with the UCAT, and have scored over 3000. My tutoring focuses on strengthening foundations, simplifying difficult topics, and improving exam skills through practice, active recall, and efficient revision strategies. I enjoy helping students who want to improve their grades, build confidence, or develop a clearer approach to studying science and maths. I also offer guidance for medical school applications, including personal statements, UCAT and interviews. I completed seven IGCSEs in India, achieving top scores in science and maths. I completed my IB Diploma Programme in London, undertaking triple sciences and HL Maths and achieved a score of 38. I am currently a first year medical student in Queen Mary University of London.
Sulaiman A.
Hi, I’m Sulaiman, a prospective medical student at University College London with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed. I achieved all Grade 9s at GCSE and was predicted A*A*A* in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics at A Level. Having recently completed my own exams, I understand the challenges students face and can provide up-to-date guidance on effective revision techniques, exam preparation, and mastering difficult topics. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I focus on building understanding and confidence rather than relying on memorisation alone. Whether you’re looking to improve your grades, strengthen your understanding of a subject, or prepare for important exams, I am committed to creating a positive learning environment and helping you achieve your academic goals. I recently completed my A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics, where I developed strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Prior to this, I achieved excellent GCSE results, including Grade 9s across my subjects. Throughout my education, I have consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, effective study habits, and a commitment to academic excellence. Having recently completed the GCSE and A Level examination process myself, I have a strong understanding of current curricula, exam techniques, and revision strategies. I am particularly passionate about helping students build confidence in their abilities, develop a deeper understanding of challenging topics, and achieve their academic goals. My academic background has equipped me with the knowledge and skills needed to explain complex concepts in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner.
