I’m an ESL teacher with eight years of experience, and I genuinely enjoy helping students become more confident in using English. Over the years, I’ve worked with different types of learners, so I’ve learned how to adjust my teaching style depending on what my students need. Outside the classroom, I volunteer in my community, especially working with youth. This is something very important to me because I believe education can really change lives. It also helped me become more patient, understanding, and connected to the real challenges students face. I’m very interested in learning more about education and social issues. I like reading books and doing my own research because I want to improve not just as a teacher, but also as a person. I try to bring these insights into my lessons so they feel more meaningful and relatable. I also love traveling because it helps me experience different cultures and perspectives, which I think is important when teaching language. As a person, I’m goal-oriented and organized, but I also try to stay flexible depending on the situation. I always reflect on my teaching and look for ways to improve. My main goal is to support my students, help them grow, and make learning English something they feel confident and comfortable with. As a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English, I am passionate about helping students discover the power of language and develop their confidence in expressing themselves. Teaching, for me, is not just about lessons—it’s about inspiring curiosity, encouraging critical thinking, and connecting learning to students’ everyday lives. I love making English engaging by sharing stories, reading books, and exploring creative ways for students to practice communication. Hello! I am Reeshma and I offer tutoring in a variety of subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, 11+ and UKCAT/BMAT admission tests, English language (specifically), and Geography. I can cover KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-level (Biology and Chemistry) content from any exam board and will always ensure the content covered in lessons is relevant to the tutee’s requirements. I have the most experience with AQA for the Sciences and Edexcel for Mathematics. I also scored highly on the UKCAT/BMAT tests and am prepared to share my wisdom to tutees as I know what the problematic areas are and the best ways to tackle them. I am currently studying medicine and hence still very familiar with many of the concepts from A-level Biology and Chemistry, as much of what I study stems from knowledge acquired from GCSE and A-level Sciences. I am extremely enthusiastic about medicine, as the human body is one of my most profound fascinations, and I believe I can convey my enthusiasm for education through my lessons. In sixth form, I was a peer mentor and often had to help students struggling with their subjects, and so I have attained a plethora of knowledge on efficient methods to overcome revision and learning issues; furthermore, I am quite an active and independent learner and have trialled many different studying techniques in the past. Therefore, I can tailor my lessons to the tutee’s preferences, e.g., usage of more diagrams for visual learners and more verbal explanations for aural learners. I have the most experience tutoring mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, english, EPQ, UCAT/BMAT, school admission tests and reviewing personal statements for a variety of students at different levels, including KS2, KS3, GCSE, A-level and university level.

Hi! I’m Ethan Brooks, an enthusiastic and dedicated Math teacher I’m passionate about making math clear, engaging, and meaningful. I have experience working with students of different learning levels, including those with special educational needs, and I always adapt my approach to suit each learner. Outside teaching, I enjoy solving puzzles and playing chess—activities that inspire creative and logical thinking. I have over 20 years teaching experience. I have a Cambridge DELTA teaching certificate. I have taught EFL in several countries, including Chile, Brazil, and Italy. My students range from primary school children to adults, from A1 level to university pre-sessional courses. I have prepared university students for General English and Master's preparation courses in Business English, HRM, and STEM courses. I do not teach English Literature at GCSE level. I also have a Master's degree in Spanish and Italian. I have tutored these languages since graduating in 2010. I lived 10 years in Chile and around 5 years in Italy, which deepened my knowledge of the languages.
