Hi, I'm Samuel! I'm a Maths student at Warwick University and I specialise in making Maths accessible and achievable for all levels and offer expert help with exam revision. Having mentored GCSE students at school and taught primary school age groups, I’ve developed the ability to simplify even the most daunting topics into clear, achievable steps. ​I focus on helping GCSE and A-Level students get to grips with complex topics. Whether you are looking to secure a pass or aiming for an A*, I provide a patient, supportive environment to help you reach your full potential. I am currently studying Maths at the University of Warwick. I went to Northgate Sixth Form in Ipswich to study for A levels where I achieved a grade A* in both Maths and Further Maths and a grade A in both Physics and Economics. Before this, I completed my GCSEs at Northgate High School in Ipswich where I achieved grade 9 in 5 subjects (including Maths), grade 8 in 4 subjects and grade 6 in 1 subject. My strengths are in Maths and the sciences. I am also musically trained having achieved a grade 8 merit on the piano from Trinity College London, a grade 5 distinction on music theory from ABRSM and a grade 9 in Music GCSE.

Hi there! I’m Zuzanna, and I’m excited to be your tutor. I hold a degree in Microbiology and a Master’s in Immunology and Infectious Disease, and I currently work in a microbiology laboratory. I’m passionate about education, science, languages, and travel, and I bring that excitement and curiosity straight into my lessons. My lessons are structured, interactive, and exam-focused, but never dry! I use clear explanations, active recall, and targeted past-paper practice with mark scheme analysis to help students maximise marks. Challenging topics are broken down into simple steps with diagrams and quizzes, while we refine exam technique and answer structure. I’m flexible and work closely with each student to tailor lessons to their individual goals.

The reason I chose to study this because it included using a lot of technical and problem-solving methods, it also included a lot of Mathematics which was one of my favourite subjects at school. I would say Algebra is one of my strong areas and I completed the Level 3 Edexcel Algebra award in secondary school. When I teach I primarily use a lot of worksheets and exam-style questions which will help the student improve on the subject and feel better prepared for any upcoming exams. If a student is struggling to understand a concept , I use diagrams, videos and allow them to have more practise until they are comfortable with the topics. I am passionate about helping students reach their academic goals by making learning clear, structured, and enjoyable. My approach combines professionalism with approachability, allowing students to feel comfortable while being challenged to achieve their best. I am currently a student at the university of Dundee. I have increased my knowledge through experiences with top law firms to supporting patients in healthcare areas which has allowed me to strengthen my communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain things clearly. I’ve also helped several students improve their understanding of subjects and grow in confidence with their learning. As a tutor, I take a supportive and adaptable approach as my degree encourages me to understand that every student learns differently so I tailor lessons to suit individual needs.
