Hi, I’m Cody Briggs, a passionate and dedicated math teacher with over five years of teaching experience. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple, easy-to-understand concepts so students can build confidence and actually enjoy learning math. My approach is practical and structured—I focus on helping students recognize patterns, think critically, and solve problems step by step. Outside of teaching, I’m actively involved in trading, where I apply logic, analysis, and discipline—skills that I also bring into my lessons. I am an experienced maths tutor based in Glasgow. I received my maths degree from the University of Glasgow and have tutored and range of age groups from primary school age, through to high school and also undergraduate. I am passionate about learning and believe that learning is about enjoyment and practicality. I enjoy helping people succeed and ultimately seeing people become more confident within themselves. I have a honours degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Glasgow with a particular specialisation in applied mathematics and am currently working towards my second degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Stirling.
