Hello! I am a dual Australian–British national and a recent graduate with Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degrees. Having lived in four different countries, I understand first-hand the challenges and experiences of international students, and I bring this awareness into my tutoring through an empathetic and flexible approach. Last year, I had the opportunity to teach abroad in Switzerland, where I taught English to French, German, and Italian students learning it as a second language. This experience gave me valuable insight into the needs of ESL learners, allowing me to support students in building confidence and fluency in both written and spoken English. Education I recently completed a Master of Laws (LLM) degree, graduating with a Distinction and receiving the LLM Award for the highest overall grade in my cohort. Prior to this, I earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). For my A-levels, I studied English, Religious Studies, Psychology, and completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) - achieving four A*s. At GCSE level, I completed eight subjects, including a Grade 9 in English Language and a Grade 8 in English Literature, reflecting my strong foundation in the subject I now teach.

My name is Charlotte and I am currently studying at the university of Lincoln in Dance (BA). I look forward to helping you achieve your full potential in English or Maths, which I studied and enjoyed in A-level. While being there, I achieved 9 9’s and 1 8 at GCSE, and followed in getting an A in maths A-level and a B in English literature. I’m a medical student with a passion for teaching Biology, Science, and Maths at primary and GCSE levels. Almost 10 years in higher education, I’ve learned two key things: 1) Every student can succeed with the right teaching approach, and 2) Learning should be active, using techniques like spaced repetition and active recall.
