I’m Avalon! I’m 22 years old, I’ve recently graduated with a degree in Chemistry from Cardiff University. I’m currently doing my PhD in Computational Chemistry (also at Cardiff University). My teaching style is very methodical but still aims to pass on my enthusiasm for my subject. 1st class BSc in Chemistry with a Placement year abroad: 2021-2025. Currently doing a PhD in Computational Chemistry: 2025-2029. A-levels Maths (A), Chemistry (A), Physics (B): 2019-2021. GCSEs achieved grades 7-9 in Maths, English and all three sciences.

To further enhance my skills and knowledge, I have obtained several certifications. These include a Software Development Life Cycle Specialization from the University of Minnesota, as well as certifications in Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) and Python Data Structures from the University of Michigan. Additionally, I have acquired certifications in Responsive Website Basics: Code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as Responsive Web Design from the University of London. These educational achievements have equipped me with a solid foundation in computer science and practical expertise in various programming languages.

Lower Level: I teach these subjects at primary level; English and Maths. From the same university, I also graduated with an MA in International relations. I specialised in antisemitism and right-wing extremism graduating with Merit.

Religion, Theology, Philosophy, Ethics and Film is my absolute passion and specialty! I have both an Undergraduate and a Masters Degree in the subject. I also have a PGCE and QTS with experience teaching primary school children and working one-to-one with SEN children. I hold my Level 2 in SEND. I attended York St John for both my Undergraduate and my Masters Degree in Religious Studies. In between, I gained a PGCE from Leeds Trinity and a QTS through my SCITT. I currently work in a Sixth Form College and support the A Level Philosophy, Religion and Ethics revision sessions and classes.
