At A-level, I earned three A grades, including in Physics and Maths, which reflect both my interest in the sciences and my ability to handle complex, analytical material. These experiences laid a strong foundation for my current studies at the University of Edinburgh, where I’m pursuing a degree in Physics. Through my own academic journey, I’ve developed effective study techniques, a deep understanding of core physics principles, and a practical approach to problem-solving — all of which I now apply in tutoring. I have graduated high school with a 19.9/20 Apolytyrion Certificate, in the following subjects: Maths, (Mechanics, A-Level) Physics, (A-Level), Design and Technology (A-Level), Geography (AS-Level) and Greek (Native, A-Level), Art, Craft and Design (A-Level). In all these subjects I achieved an A, with an A* in Art and Greek. I have experience sharing knowledge, organising meetings and lessons since founding and forming my high school's Engineering Club, which I was also president of.

Hi there! My name is Molly, and I am a 22 year old graduate from the University of Manchester currently living in London. I studied History, a subject that I feel has equipped me with numerous transferable skills that make me an excellent tutor. It is analytical, requires the development of strong verbal and non-verbal reasoning skills, and the ability to build structured responses to fascinating and relevant topical themes. On a more personal note, I would like to pursue a career in teaching, and gaining experience in working one on one with students would be a positive addition to building up my confidence and abilities. However, I’m not the only one that would benefit from tutoring, I think you would too! I am curious, driven, and organised, and will always do the best I can to ensure that you get the most out of our sessions. I myself was a very keen student and thoroughly enjoyed academia. I got excellent results in both my GCSE’s and A-levels, and I feel it would be a privilege to channel my enthusiasm for learning to others who are at the earlier stages of their educational journey. I attended Sydenham High School for primary and secondary school. I scored highly in my GCSE’s, recieving five 9’s in English Literature, Double science, History, and Religious Studies. I received an 8 in Maths and French, and additionally a 7 in English Language and Drama. I then went to Trinity School in Croydon for sixth form and obtained a 50% academic scholarship, both the highest scholarship offered, and a rare one to receive. I was awarded an A* in my Politics A-level, and two A’s in both History and Religious Studies. Finally, I studied History at the University of Manchester and obtained a 2:1 (second class, division one).

As a tutor, I believe in creating a supportive and interactive learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking. Over the years, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, including primary school students, high school students, and university undergraduates. I am proud to say that my past students have achieved excellent results under my guidance, with many of them scoring top grades in their exams and developing a love for maths. Some of my most rewarding experiences as a tutor have been seeing my students grow in confidence and independence, and knowing that I played a part in their success.
