Hello! I’m Alice Bennett, a licensed English teacher with 14 years of experience helping students grow into confident communicators. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in English, and I’ve completed the academic requirements for a Master of Arts in English Language Education. Currently, I teach Grades 7 to 10, guiding learners through some of the most formative and exciting years of their academic journey. Over the years, I’ve supported students preparing for college entrance exams as well as international assessments like IELTS and TOEFL. Working with learners from diverse backgrounds has taught me that every student has a unique story — and I take pride in finding strategies that help each one succeed in their own way. Teaching, for me, is more than a profession — it’s a passion. I love sparking curiosity, nurturing growth, and witnessing those unforgettable “aha!” moments when students discover what they’re truly capable of. In my classes, I make learning interactive and meaningful by incorporating multimedia resources such as songs, short videos, and infographics. I break complex skills into manageable steps, gradually building students’ confidence and independence. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading and traveling. These experiences give me fresh perspectives and real-world insights that I bring back into my lessons, making them more relevant and engaging. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education major in English, which provided me with a strong foundation in linguistics, literature, curriculum design, and assessment. My undergraduate training equipped me not only with content knowledge but also with effective pedagogical strategies for teaching diverse learners. To further deepen my expertise, I completed the academic requirements for a Master of Arts in English Language Education. My graduate studies strengthened my understanding of language acquisition theories, research-based instructional strategies, academic writing instruction, and assessment design. This advanced training has allowed me to approach teaching with both practical experience and scholarly insight. I have been teaching and tutoring for 14 years, working with students across various age groups and proficiency levels. Currently, I teach English to Grades 7 to 10, guiding students through critical stages of their academic and personal development. My classroom experience includes teaching grammar, literature, writing, reading comprehension, oral communication, and critical thinking skills. My name is Charlotte and I am currently studying at the university of Lincoln in Dance (BA). I look forward to helping you achieve your full potential in English or Maths, which I studied and enjoyed in A-level. I believe everyone deserves a chance to reach there goals and do their best, and I hope to help you get there :) I attended NHGS, a grammar school in the North of England. While being there, I achieved 9 9’s and 1 8 at GCSE, and followed in getting an A in maths A-level and a B in English literature. I am currently studying Dance at the university of Lincoln after taking a gap year to work hard and earn money.

My career journey started from a very young age, where I was writing poetry, stories, taught Mathematics, repaired bicycles, phones and computers, and played multiple instruments. I have the ability to learn and master anything from Novice to Advanced through planning, disciple and consistency. I have nine experience in teaching Mathematics and English to different age groups and also created my teaching material to enhance learning and understanding. I have been coding in Python and Javascript, and have intermediate understanding on C, C++, C#, Java and PHP. I have created projects that help solve any problem that I experienced in a working environment, and these projects reduce the amount of work and time because they are accurate and reliable. I do motivational talks about life, technology, arts and Mathematics, and 90 percent of the students that I have worked with have managed to improve their academics and work ethic. I have been requested by schools to come and assist with complex Mathematical concepts after they saw my incredible work with people., and I don't just work for a salary, but I work to learn, teach, improvise and solve any problem to create a healthy succesful working environment. In all my years of working, I have been solving problems and creating better solutions, combining ideas and working as a wise team to ensure that quality results are obtained. In the previous years, I was teaching the piano, guitars and vocals on my spare time, to help children escape depression, violence and drugs. I love working with people, learning from them and teaching them, and I believe that working with people is creating a system that is beneficial. I enrolled to study a Bachelor’s degree in Education at the University of the Free State until 2019. I was majoring in Mathematics and Life Sciences because I was passionate about teaching Mathematics. With the minimum income that I was getting, I bought musical instruments, teaching equipment and devices. In 2020, I was employed at a school to teach Mathematics until 2023 December. Between 2020 and 2023, I was learning numerous skills, Mathematics, computer hardware, different musical instruments and got exposed to programming. I was running a successful tutoring program, internet café and music program. I got a job at ATNS in Aviation where I am currently working as an Aeronautical Information Management Officer. I developed the passion for coding, fascinated by its way of granting one the ability to program anything, that could solve time and problems. In 2023, I was using JavaScript to code automated Mathematics tests, I used it to study, and create projects that solved any problem that I encountered. I am currently learning JavaScript and Python. I am currently enrolled with the University of the People for BSc in Computer Science. I had a problem with learning how to code because it was different from Mathematics and theoretical work, it challenged me to learn and apply code to solve problems. I am eager to learn and have drafted well detailed plan about my future in I.T. Before I enrolled at the University, I prepared myself by getting books and studying from multiple sources.

I’m a medical student with a passion for teaching Biology, Science, and Maths at primary and GCSE levels. Almost 10 years in higher education, I’ve learned two key things: 1) Every student can succeed with the right teaching approach, and 2) Learning should be active, using techniques like spaced repetition and active recall. I focus on breaking down complex topics, using examples, mnemonics, and past papers to help students understand. I’m patient and adaptable, always ready to find new ways to explain concepts if needed. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about sports, gaming, and tech. I’ve coached an under-15 basketball team and teach guitar at my church, which helps me connect with students and build trust to boost their confidence and performance. I graduated from Glasgow in 2020 with a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences and am currently pursuing a medical degree. My strong academic background in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Geography enables me to offer well-rounded and insightful tutoring.
