Hello, my name is Alex. I am a first year student studying Economics at the University of Leeds. In my spare time, I like to play football, as well as go to the gym and go out with my friends. I also enjoy watching football, and I support Manchester United. I have tutored 6 different students over the past 2 years for GCSE maths, with a variety of skill levels, but all of them achieving their target grades or higher. I went to Sir John Lawes School for both secondary school and sixth form. I achieved 5 8s and 5 9s in my GCSEs and A* A* A at A level. I’m now studying Economics BSC at the University of Leeds. I have always been passionate for maths and it has been both my strongest and favourite subject throughout my entire school life. I won the KS3 maths award.

I have 10+ years of teaching experience at school level, academies and online classes. To help my students out with their queries and bringing them out of grey zones is my utmost priority. My hobbies include working out, football and research. I believe that physical activity is very important for our mental health and it also helps us in making better decisions. On the other hand, I am constantly trying to research new studies and theories as learning is not restricted to a certain age group rather it is for all of us until we can still breathe. I am passionate about teaching Maths because I enjoy helping students see that Maths is not something that is impossible but with help even the most complex topics can be broken down simply. It is especially nice when students come back to you with better results more confidence and a big smile. I can teach Mathematics for A-Levels and below. Big fan of football, cricket (which I play competitively for a club in the Surrey Leagues), video games and recently F1 I would like to preferably tutor students in secondary school, however I am open for Primary school students as well. Hi, I’m Ryn Delaine, an enthusiastic and student-centered math teacher! I love helping students explore the world of mathematics in a way that is simple, engaging, and meaningful. My goal is to make learning math less intimidating and more enjoyable through step-by-step explanations, real-life applications, and interactive problem-solving that spark curiosity and build confidence in my students. In my free time, I enjoy singing and playing the guitar, which help me stay creative, relaxed, and bring positive energy into my teaching. I graduated with a degree in Mathematics Education as a Cum Laude, where I gained a strong foundation in mathematical theories, teaching strategies, and classroom management. My studies equipped me with the skills to create engaging lessons, address diverse learning styles, and foster a supportive learning environment that encourages every student to excel.
