English GCSE - year 10&11 only Russian all levels I am an enthusiastic and devoted tutor. I am aware of different challenges that students face and I develop different strategies to help them to overcome them. There isn’t always an opportunity for students to ask questions and receive a lot of personal attention in the school classrooms, so I always encourage students to explain to me what they struggle with the most and which areas make the least sense, so they don’t go back to their school lessons still feeling confused and worried that they don’t understand something. In addition, I encourage them to think and analyse, I try to avoid giving answers, instead I help students find them themselves. I believe it’s such an important life skill. I consider each student’s strengths and weaknesses. I always strive to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in my online classroom. I build my relationship with everyone on mutual respect and trust. I prefer when students see me as a mentor, rather than a teacher, and I call our meetings “sessions”, rather than “lessons”. I’m a friendly Physics student offering Maths and Physics tutoring. I focus on clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving and building confidence. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace, helping them understand difficult topics and approach exam questions more calmly. I am currently studying BSc Physics at the University of Nottingham, which has given me a strong foundation in maths, mechanics, electricity, waves, data analysis and problem-solving. Before university, I studied A-levels in Physics, Maths, Design and Technology and Russian at The Judd School. My education has involved regular lab work, written reports and presentations, helping me explain complex ideas clearly and break problems down step by step. This background supports my ability to tutor Maths and Physics in a patient, structured and confidence-building way.

Passionate finalist PhD Candidate and Teaching Assistant in Russian Studies who is interested in sharing his knowledge with equally eager students who want to learn foreign languages (Russian and German), alongside history, sociology, philosophy and political theory. I am also equally eager to teach about culture as part of the lesson. I am finalising my PhD in Russian Studies at Durham University and will obtain my doctor title by the early summer. I also possess an MA in Social and Political Thought from Sussex University and a joint-honours BA in History and Sociology from the University of Greenwich. I also have Erasmus+ exchange experience at the Linnnaeus University in Växjö, Sweden and also taken studied courses in Russian culture and history at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in Moscow, Russia. I also possess a European Baccalaureate from the European School of Brussels I, and I am also familiar with curriculums from different European countries.

Studying computer science at university gave me the chance to explore the latest technology and various programming languages. Technology is a very rapidly moving industry and makes me very excited about the future as computers now play a massive role in all aspects of our lives. Throughout my life I always wanted a job that allowed me to make a difference and have a impact on the world. I think, that teaching computers science, is one of the best ways how to help children and young people to venture into todays computer driven world. It also fulfil my dream of making positive impact by motivating and inspiring our next generations of bright minds. Also, I wouldn't say that learning Russian is easy but I do know for sure that it is very rewarding. Russian is still very widely spoken language in Eastern Europe and it could help you if you travel across many European countries. Therefore, I would like to help students to learn Russian and to prove that learning new languages can be a fun challenge.
