Currently studying BSc Physiotherapy at Brunel University of London, after studying A Level Psychology, Biology and PE. I want to give back to students the type of tutoring I received during my studies; though exam practice, interactive sessions and content revision I am currently studying towards a degree in Physiotherapy at Brunel University. I achieved A*AB in A level Psychology, Biology and PE. At GCSE I studied geography, PE, Citizenship and Spanish. All of these subjects come together to aid my current studies.

My training in medicine has greatly enhanced my understanding of the sciences, which I bring into my teaching as a biology and human biology tutor. I have been a consistent high scorer throughout my academic journey and tutor students of all ages and levels, across all major UK boards (England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland). My goal is to make complex topics simple, engaging, and to help every student achieve exam success Languages: English (Fluent), Hindi/ Urdu (Native) Hi! My name is Ridha, I am a Doctor of Medicine. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Anesthesia Technology which adds to my in depth knowledge in the field of science. I realized very early on in my education that a good teacher is what contributes largely in the making of a good student. Not only does one need to put all the efforts on their end but also the guidance of a good teacher is what can drive a student to excellence. My aim is to do exactly that - strive hard on the journey of achieving excellence TOGETHER. As a tutor, I will bring this approach to my style of teaching where I am consistently ready to go an extra mile to not only make my students comfortable but also to make them love what they study as opposed to just looking at it like a chore. Whether it is researching the curriculum with the most updated content to ensuring that they are best prepared to write their exams and that their knowledge is not just short lived, rather they have it strongly fixed in their core memory. As a tutor, I will first build a relationship with my students by earning their trust and learn what it is that they value most and assure them that we will work as a team keeping their best interests at heart. In my classes, I would first like to start with icebreakers so my students will be relaxed and ready to start our study session with a new found enthusiasm before diving into the actual content. Then, I would like to learn about their weaknesses and what it is that they have the most difficulty with and keep those points in mind before starting our lessons. Starting from what is easy and then indulge in more challenging topics. I strongly believe that tutoring is a tailor made approach and no two students are the same. So, it is of prime importance to conform based on what an individual student needs. As tedious as studying can get, it is all the more important in today's day and age to make it more fun and enjoyable and I would like to do just that by including quizzes, games, power-points etc related to every topic especially the ones that are more difficult to understand, so as to follow a more modern approach to studying but also including tests and practice some equations or structures to test their knowledge. Hence, maintaining the traditional approach to studying. At the end of each lesson I will encourage the students to summarize what was taught and also practise active recall in the follow up classes in order to solidify their understanding as well as boosting their memory. I will also include mock tests in their lessons which will mimic the actual exams to prepare them better for the same. In my school years, I have experience with helping/ tutoring my fellow students who needed extra help. It has been one of my most prized achievements to watch them pass their exams with my help and guidance. Going from that to having 45+ current students from all over UK, and over 900 lessons has increased my expertise. I am very organized in my everyday life and studies and will be sure to do the same with my sessions to modulate everything in the most systematic way whether it is addressing my students' queries or communicating with their parents about any concerns that they may have, and giving my honest feedback timely regarding any observations I may have about the student and keep them on top of their child's education journey. To conclude, I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible by being not only their tutor, but also a mentor.

I am passionate about Chemistry, with a PhD in the subject and over five years of tutoring experience. My tutoring style is to ensure a solid foundation in the core concepts, then practicing the skills with exam questions. I cover all exam boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel etc) and all topics in Chemistry at GCSE and A level. My highest level of education is a PhD in Chemistry from Durham University. I also obtained an MChem with First Class Honours from Durham University. My A level subjects were Chemistry, Maths, Biology and French (all A grades), as well as 11 A* grades at GCSE.

The reason I chose to study this because it included using a lot of technical and problem-solving methods, it also included a lot of Mathematics which was one of my favourite subjects at school. I would say Algebra is one of my strong areas and I completed the Level 3 Edexcel Algebra award in secondary school. When I teach I primarily use a lot of worksheets and exam-style questions which will help the student improve on the subject and feel better prepared for any upcoming exams. If a student is struggling to understand a concept , I use diagrams, videos and allow them to have more practise until they are comfortable with the topics. I'm Tilly, and I'm a second-year medical student at Oxford University. I have been tutoring for over three years now and love helping students in maths, science and for medical school admissions tests.
