Hi! I’m Ananth, a University of Warwick student here to help you crush your exams. having recently been through the system myself, I know exactly what examiners are looking for. I achieved A*A*A*A* in my A-Levels (Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Economics) and Grade 9s across almost all my GCSE subjects. I have extensive experience mentoring peers in school and currently teach GCSE Maths to private students. My lessons are interactive and tailored to your specific learning style. I don't just teach the content; I teach the revision habits and exam techniques that helped me succeed. Let's work together to get you the grades you deserve! I am a BSc Discrete Mathematics undergraduate at the University of Warwick with a proven track record of academic excellence, having achieved A*A*A*A* at A-Level (Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Economics) alongside eight Grade 9s and one Grade 8 at GCSE. Having navigated these rigorous exams successfully, I understand exactly what examiners look for. I focus on breaking down complex, abstract topics into clear, logical steps, ensuring my students build genuine understanding and robust exam technique rather than relying on rote memorisation. My teaching experience began by mentoring peers in Mathematics, Economics, and Physics at school, and I currently tutor private students in GCSE Mathematics. Because of my Further Mathematics background, I can explain challenging concepts from multiple angles, tailoring each lesson to the individual student’s pace and learning style. Whether the goal is to secure top grades or simply build confidence, I provide structured support to help students reach their full potential.

Khalood Zara K.

My name is Khalood Zara, and I am a Law graduate with a strong and diverse academic background. Alongside studying Law at university, I completed A-levels in Mathematics, Economics, Business, and Psychology, which provided me with a broad foundation across both essay-based and quantitative subjects. This combination has enabled me to develop excellent written communication, analytical reasoning, and numerical skills, allowing me to support students with a range of learning styles and academic needs. My academic journey has equipped me with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly, encourage critical thinking,-and help students build confidence in their abilities. I am a dedicated and knowledgeable tutor with a genuine passion for education and student success. My approach is focused, supportive, and tailored to each individual's needs, ensuring that students develop both confidence and a deep understanding of their subjects. I place great emphasis on critical thinking, academic rigour, and building strong study habits that extend beyond the classroom. By creating a positive and encouraging learning environment, I help students achieve their goals, realise their potential, and develop the skills needed for long-term academic success. My academic journey has provided me with a strong and diverse foundation of knowledge, analytical ability, and communication skills. I graduated with a Law degree from City, University of London, a highly respected institution known for its academic excellence, strong links to industry and the professions, and its location in the heart of London's legal and financial district. Studying Law at university required a high level of intellectual discipline, critical thinking, and attention to detail. Throughout my degree, l engaged with complex legal principles, developed advanced research skills, and learned how to construct clear, persuasive, and evidence-based arguments. The rigorous nature of legal study strengthened my ability to analyse information from multiple perspectives, identify key issues, evaluate evidence, and communicate complex ideas in a clear and accessible manner. These are skills that extend far beyond the study of law and are invaluable when supporting students in their own academic development. My university experience also enhanced my time management, organisation, and independent learning abilities, allowing me to approach challenges methodically and effectively. Prior to university, I completed A-levels in Mathematics, Economics, Business, and Psychology. This combination of subjects provided me with a broad academic perspective and enabled me to develop strengths across both quantitative and essay-based disciplines. Mathematics and Economics refined my numerical reasoning, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, while Business and Psychology strengthened my analytical writing, evaluation, and understanding of human behaviour and decision-making. Studying such a varied range of subjects has given me the flexibility to connect with students who have different academic strengths and learning styles. It has also equipped me with a balanced skill set that combines numerical proficiency with strong written communication and critical analysis. As a result, I am able to support students not only in mastering subject content but also in developing the confidence, independent thinking, and study techniques that underpin long-term academic success. My educational background has instilled in me a genuine appreciation for learning and intellectual curiosity. I strive to pass this on to my students by creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where they feel motivated to achieve their goals and full potential.

My name is Mark Sean A. Manubag, and I hold a degree in Chemistry. For the past two years, I’ve been teaching and tutoring high school and college students, mainly in math, chemistry, and physics. I love making complex topics feel simple and approachable for learners at different levels. As a teacher, I am patient, supportive, and goal-oriented. I believe in guiding students step by step until they feel confident in themselves. One of my strengths is breaking down difficult concepts into clear, relatable ideas. Seeing students progress—from struggling on quizzes to celebrating their own achievements—is what inspires me to teach. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered. I enjoy connecting lessons to real-life examples, whether through cooking, music, or everyday situations, so that learning feels both meaningful and fun. I’ve found that when students can relate to a topic, they learn faster and remember it longer. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, exploring different genres of music, and learning languages. At the moment, I’m studying Italian, which helps me stay in touch with the challenges of being a learner myself. That perspective allows me to connect more deeply with my students and encourage them to see learning as a lifelong skill. Teaching, for me, is about helping students discover their own potential. I want my learners to not only improve their grades but also develop the confidence and curiosity that will benefit them well beyond the classroom. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. During my studies, I gained extensive training in laboratory instrumentation, including GCMS, FTIR, AAS, and UV-Vis, and completed internships with the Food and Drug Administration of the Philippines, the Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, and the Philippine–Japan Active Carbon Corporation. My undergraduate thesis focused on the spectrophotometric determination of phenolics from plant extracts, which strengthened my background in analytical chemistry. After graduation, I successfully passed the Philippine Licensure Examination for Chemists in September 2014. Alongside my academic journey, I began working as a freelance tutor between 2012 and 2014, supporting high school and college students in mathematics, chemistry, and other sciences. Many of the students I taught came from institutions with advanced science and math programs, while others needed help building foundational understanding. Through one-on-one lessons, I developed a teaching approach that emphasized patience, step-by-step guidance, and real-life applications, helping students not only grasp concepts but also build confidence in their own abilities. This tutoring experience deepened my passion for education and showed me the impact of making complex topics simple and engaging. I take pride in seeing students’ progress—from struggling on exams to achieving strong results. Teaching continues to be a meaningful part of my career, complementing my professional work as a chemist by allowing me to share knowledge and inspire curiosity in the sciences.

I’m Enola - I’m a second year student at the University of Nottingham studying Economics but I’m originally from Folkestone, Kent! I have a strong background in maths and I’ve helped students at GCSE and A-Level feel more confident by focusing on understanding, rather than memorising. I love to read, do yoga and play tennis outside of my studies :) At the Folkestone School for Girls, I achieved 9999988888 at GCSE and took A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, History and French with an A in Maths. Currently, I’m studying BSc Economics at the University of Nottingham and am on track for a first. I’ve chosen to specialise in Econometrics modules, which is the maths/ statistics side of Economics. I have around 2 years of experience in tutoring. I tutored two GCSE students weekly for around a year in Maths and Science. I also did tutoring every week within school, running drop in sessions at lunchtime for year 7 - year 11 students.
