Hi, my name is Mads! I am currently attending the University St Andrews, studying for an MLitt in Intellectual History, which is essentially the history of learning and thinking. I recently graduated from the University of Warwick with a first class BA in Modern History. I’m a friendly and approachable tutor, excited to share my love for learning. I teach subjects I have studied previously and still integrate into the focus of my degree, so I continue to study them now! I love animals, board games and books, and look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for my subjects. Hi, I’m Udit! I’m currently working as a Lecturer in Medical Sciences at the University of Lancashire. I hold a PhD in Chemistry and was awarded the prestigious Marie Curie PhD Fellowship — a highly competitive international research scholarship. I also have a Master’s degree in Chemistry (with Distinction) and a First Division Bachelor’s in Chemistry. Over the past ten years, I’ve taught Science at GCSE, A Level, and undergraduate levels. I previously taught at Bedford College, where I worked closely with students studying for AQA and OCR exams. I now teach undergraduate Chemistry at university level, and I’m passionate about helping students build a deep and lasting understanding of the subject. In my lessons, I focus on strengthening core concepts so students can approach more complex ideas with confidence. I like to begin by working through a few basic questions to identify areas of focus, and then tailor the lesson accordingly. My sessions usually include discussion, problem-solving, and past paper practice, always with your goals in mind. I’ve been tutoring online for several years and really enjoy the flexibility and focus it offers. I completed my school and sixth form education at St Paul’s Church College in Agra, India, where I achieved strong grades in science subjects, particularly Chemistry and Biotechnology. I then studied for a BSc in Chemistry and Zoology, graduating with Honours in Chemistry, and went on to complete an MSc in Chemistry with distinction at Dayalbagh Educational Institute, India. Later, I moved to the UK to pursue a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Lancashire. My doctoral research focused on improving the stability of materials used in solar panels and electronic devices. Through this, I gained hands-on experience with advanced laboratory methods and international research facilities. Alongside my academic background, I have taught science across various levels. I previously taught GCSE Science, A Level Chemistry, and Applied Science courses at Bedford College, where I also led the T Level Science programme and supported curriculum development. I now work as an Associate Lecturer in Medical Sciences at the University of Lancashire. My main area of expertise is Chemistry, particularly physical and inorganic chemistry, but I also have a solid understanding of Biology and experience supporting students across all science disciplines. My tutoring style is calm, clear, and tailored to each learner’s needs, whether you're preparing for GCSEs, A Levels, or looking for extra support at university level. I aim to help students build confidence, develop a deeper understanding of science, and succeed in both exams and future studies.

I am a medical student with A*AA at A-level, including an A* in Biology, and top GCSEs (all 9s in triple sciences, Geography, English Language, and RS). With 2 years of tutoring experience, I combine strong subject knowledge with a supportive approach, helping students not only achieve excellent results but also enjoy the learning process and grow in confidence. I attended Townley Grammar School and its Sixth Form, achieving 9999998877 at GCSE, with grade 9s in all Triple Sciences, English Language, Religious Studies, and Geography. At A-level I achieved A*AA in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology, with an A* in Biology, and I am now studying Medicine at university. Alongside my studies, I have over 2 years’ experience tutoring GCSE English and Maths and mentoring students in Triple Science, supporting them as they prepared for exams. I also led my school’s Science Club, helping to inspire younger students and make science engaging beyond the classroom. In addition, I achieved a Bronze award in the British Biology Olympiad, reflecting both my academic ability and enthusiasm for learning. These experiences have strengthened my subject knowledge and my ability to explain complex ideas clearly, motivate students, and build their confidence.

I have over 10 years of experience in Education, learning, and development, teaching in both Primary and Secondary Schools. I specialise in teaching 11+, Social Sciences and prepping for national exams. I love helping students bridge the gap between what they currently know and what they need to know, by building confidence and resilience in their subject knowledge and approach to learning, especially in areas which they find particularly daunting. Engagement in learning is key. All lessons must be interactive to encourage learning and development. I encourage engagement through quizzes, questions, games, opinions, matching & sorting activities and use of mixed media. I adapt to different learning styles by meeting children where they are at, finding out what they currently know and using that information as a foundation to make learning accessible for them. I use assessments to track progress and plug gaps in their knowledge. My passion is to create successful learners who are able to achieve and exceed the goals they set for themselves. At A-Level, I studied Sociology (Grade A), Psychology (Grade B) and ICT (Grade C) at Southwark College. I then completed my BSc in Sociology and Criminology at City University, achieving a 2:1. I also have a PGCE in Upper Primary which I completed at Goldsmiths College. Additionally, I have a CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in Learning and Development.
