My academic journey is rooted in a deep passion for the Sciences, which has been cultivated through years of study and practical experience. I hold a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Uyo, where I studied the disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Psychology. Throughout my time at university, I gained a solid foundation in both theoretical knowledge and practical application, which allow me to approach complex concepts with clarity and insight. After collecting my University degree, I practiced as a Pharmacist in a General Hospital and spent a year working in the Psychiatry department, gaining practical knowledge in Psychology and Psychiatry. I have honed my teaching skills through a tutoring experience that has spanned 4 years. Having tutored students from various educational backgrounds, I am now skilled at breaking down complicated material and tailoring lessons to each student’s individual needs. With years of experience in both one-on-one tutoring and group sessions, I’ve developed an intuitive understanding of the challenges students face and how to guide them through these challenges effectively. I’ve worked with students preparing for various exams, including GCSEs, A-Levels, and University entrance exams. My name is Hannah and I studied English language and linguistics. I also studied the following A levels: Spanish, Psychology and Geography. I love to play the instruments such as the piano for fun and reading. I have a passion for encouraging and supporting students in their learning and to achieve their greatest potential! I have a BA in English language and linguistics, a dissertation in the effectiveness of microlearning through the platform Youtube, in learning Spanish (inspired by my UROP Project). I am currently working in the education sector as a SEN TA, supporting children in their learning. Receiving some training in understanding autism at schools and special needs. I have A levels in Spanish, Geography and Psychology and an AS in English literature. I have done a UROP project at the University of Reading, investigating microlearning using social media to learn the English language. Outside of teaching and studying, I’m someone who loves exploring the world in every sense. I love to travel, always looking for the next hidden city street, quiet coastal path, or mountain trail to wander. I love experiences that spark curiosity and offer new perspectives, which are some qualities I bring into my lessons, too. I’m also a keen reader and lifelong learner, with a love for books on psychology, inclusive education, and modern fiction. My name is Karima! I currently study an Economics degree at Swansea University and achieved A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Economics. Hi! I'm a to-be AQA A Level Psychology (and Sociology) trainee teacher, fresh with a degree in Psychology.
