I’m a friendly and patient tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence in subjects that can sometimes feel overwhelming. I teach both Maths and Computer Science across a range of levels, from early primary all the way up to GCSE, I adapt each lesson to how the student learns best. My teaching style focuses on breaking concepts down into simple, clear steps. I have a strong background in both Maths and Computer Science, and I have worked with students across a range of ages and learning styles. My experience includes tutoring primary, secondary, and adult learners, helping them improve their understanding of key concepts as well as their confidence in approaching challenging topics. I have supported students with curriculum learning, homework support, and exam preparation, particularly in Maths and Computer Science. My passion for education and cross-cultural communication prompted me to transition from a career in law to teaching English Soft Skills and Cross-Cultural Communication overseas. I'm also an avid reader gravitated towards the fantasy genre, personally I am a fan of Lord of The Rings, as well as all the other stories that J.R.R.Tolkien had written for the world of Arda, A Song of Ice & Fire is also another favourite of mine delving into a deep and dark setting, with a more pronounced adult tone, building a vast expansive world full of mystery, eldritch horror and slight bits of magic scattered around, while still emphasising the realistic nature of humans. Anime is one of my first passions an introduction to the Japanese language in the form of animation, flashy visuals and cultural phenomena that paved a path for the youth of my generation the art and creativity put into those shows has really instilled the same characteristics in me. Hi, I’m Paul. I mostlytutor Maths and Science as well as Computer Science and English as a Foreign Language, which I trained in at Columbia Teachers’ College, USA. Originally I studied for a BA in Natural Sciences. I have been a classroom teacher and tutor for over 15years, in the UK as well as South Korea, Japan and China, and more recently have developed Science courses for a large online learning platform. My tutorials are often centered around structured practice of specific topic areas, with an approach geared toward getting students to speak freely about topics in their own voices.
