I am a multi-instrumentalist. I play seven instruments and I love singing. I started playing the electronic organ when I was seven years old. I continued my musical education playing in the school orchestra and concert band. The Guthlaxton concert band travelled all over Britain performing in competitions. It was great fun! I have my own recording studio and have recorded some songs (on Spotify) . I really enjoy gardening , knitting and nature. I am a complete animal fanatic . Once , I wanted to be a wildlife photographer. I also enjoy swimming in the sea and going travelling to warm countries . The furthest i have travelled is to Sri Lanka where I saw fire flies and baby elephants. What an amazing experience. I believe music is a real gift and want to share this gift with other people. I have three grade 8 s with the ABRSM in clarinet, flute and piano . I also have a grade 5 alto saxophone grade too. I studied GCSE music , A level music and a degree in music . My name is Charlie and i would love to help you feel more confident in your efforts to learn english to a higher level. I will tell you a brief story of why i am an english teacher. I am originally from England. I have lived in England all my life and was born there , i have also studied in 4 different schools and one college also. I have also been working secularly since i was 17 in a joiners shop making furniture. Since covid began and my boss retired i started working as a handyman and being my own boss. Then I met a girl from Spain called Sora, we began talking everyday. Now we are married and living in Tarragona in Spain. Here in Spain i have been teaching English conversation. Helping my students by giving them practice in speaking lessons and culture lessons too. I enjoy teaching and have been doing so on donation basis in order to help my students. These lessons that i have been conducting have sharpened my teaching methods. Hi, I’m Henry - a 3rd year Mechanical Engineering student studying at Imperial. I offer tutoring services for A level, GCSE and KS3 Maths and Physics along with university application guidance. I have a strong background in Maths and Physics, with A*A at A-Level, and I’m currently applying these subjects in applied engineering. In Canada I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry, with a Major in Outdoor Leadership. I worked in this field for a few years, but eventually found myself drawn to the business and financial side of things in the organization that I worked for. In the future, I would like to pursue education and work in business and finance. My favorite hobby is being active in the outdoors. I enjoy rock climbing, mountain biking, and almost anything else that gets me outside and being active. I also love to relax with a good book on a quite day or evening. My other qualifications are not particularly connected to tutoring. I am certified to teach a number of adventure activities. I am a Top Rope Climbing instructor, certified by the ACMG, I am a level 1 Mountain Bike instructor, certified with PMBIA, OCC Hiking Field Leader, and I also took an 80 wilderness first aid course. Hello! My name is Shruti and I have always been fascinated by technology and how it shapes the world we live in. I have a strong passion for mathematics and science. I enjoy the challenges of solving complex problems and finding different solutions, which strengthen analytical thinking as well as problem-solving skills. I believe this is very important because it helps us to understand problems better and enables us to break them down into smaller, more manageable parts, which is also very crucial to learn. This also allows us to evaluate options logically instead of just guessing. Alongside this, I love listening to music. Listening to different genres helps me to relax and stay motivated; it also enhances my focus, concentration and memory. For me, music also works by blocking out distractions and creating a very steady rhythm for the brain to follow, which further increases my level of concentration. I also enjoy learning different languages because I believe this helps with connecting to different people from diverse backgrounds. Cognitively, learning a new language strengthens memory, problem-solving skills, as well as concentration. Altogether, these skills helped me to build confidence and independence. Therefore, I became better at explaining new ideas clearly and in an easily understandable way. I also became better at learning new things and finding solutions quickly to different problems. This is extremely essential in fields like engineering and tutoring! Throughout my academic years, I have attended Queen Mary's High School, and after that, I attended Queen Mary's Grammar School for sixth form.
