Hello! I'm Maddy, I'm 23 years old currently completing my Master's in Public Health at Cardiff University. I completed my undergraduate degree in Population Health and Medical Sciences at Swansea University, where I obtained First Class Honours. My hobbies and interests include health and fitness... primarily because I also love to bake. I also enjoy reading and socializing with friends! My guilty pleasures include: binge watching TV series (usually the same ones over and over again) and scrolling through TikTok for hours on end. I can assure you that whilst I loved studying biology, it wasn't without its challenges. I have first hand experience in building confidence for both day-to-day lessons and preparing for all aspects of exams. I myself, was tutored for A-level Biology, an experience that proved invaluable in aiding my understanding and providing tools for self directed study across all subject areas. Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine.
