Hi! I'm Michaelangelos, a mathematics graduate from the University of St Andrews (MMath) and incoming PhD student at the University of Glasgow. I've been tutoring maths for several years, including Higher and National 5, and it's something I genuinely love doing. What I care most about is helping students build real confidence and intuition, not just memorise steps. My master’s dissertation, which earned a 90% grade and was highly commended for the Duncan Prize, focused on a posteriori methods for error control via the reconstruction technique. I used to teach my juniors in university and have continued to do that after I have graduated. I love biology, especially genetics; an interest which I have pursued by completing an MSc in Molecular Medicine in Sudan. During my Molecular Medicine degree, I developed an interest in cancer, so I applied for- and got accepted into an MSc in Cancer Sciences at the University of Glasgow.
