Hello! Dia dhuit! Hola! Is mise Anysia. My name is Anysia and I am from the wild west of Ireland, a place called Galway. My mother tongue is Irish and also speak English, some French and Spanish. I have a big family of 6 and lots of animals. I have dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, turkeys and geese. I play sport in my spare time and am a part of a soccer team, a gaelic football team and a camogie team. I also have a passion for art, I love to paint and draw. I'm a positive and happy person with a passion to share my knowledge. For years I taught Irish in an Irish College in Galway, you may have heard of it - Colaiste Lurgan. We have become very popular over the years by translating, creating and preforming popular english songs (but making them much better) and recording them in Irish. Take a look on YouTube - TG Lurgan - you might be able to spot me in a few videos! I was an Irish teacher by day and a kayaking instructor by evening. My house was a 'bean an ti' house which means every three weeks during the summer months, we had 14-16 new students living with us. Everyone attended the college and had fun all the while learning and practicing our native language.

Hi there! I'm final year medical student looking to do some tutoring in maths GCSE, UCAT and interview technique. One thing I love about medicine is its breadth - I get to study a wide range of subjects from anatomy and biochemistry to sociology and ethics. Being interested in what I learn gave me a love of learning and I truly believe that having fun while studying is the way to get high grades. With this in mind, I would love to help students improve in their studies by helping them get stuck in to learning through creative and interesting avenues like drawings, mind maps, music and so much more. Grade 7 Violin, Grade 8 Piano, Grade 5 theory, A levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. BSc in Medicine from the University of St Andrews (2023), working towards MBChB in Medicine from the University of Manchester (2026). Interests in paediatrics and working with children.

Currently, I teach Grades 7 to 10, guiding learners through some of the most formative and exciting years of their academic journey. Teaching, for me, is more than a profession — it’s a passion. I love sparking curiosity, nurturing growth, and witnessing those unforgettable “aha!” moments when students discover what they’re truly capable of. In my classes, I make learning interactive and meaningful by incorporating multimedia resources such as songs, short videos, and infographics. I break complex skills into manageable steps, gradually building students’ confidence and independence. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading and traveling. These experiences give me fresh perspectives and real-world insights that I bring back into my lessons, making them more relevant and engaging. I’m excited about the opportunity to inspire, guide, and empower more learners to achieve their goals and become confident users of the English language. I look forward to connecting with you! My graduate studies strengthened my understanding of language acquisition theories, research-based instructional strategies, academic writing instruction, and assessment design. This advanced training has allowed me to approach teaching with both practical experience and scholarly insight. I have been teaching and tutoring for 14 years, working with students across various age groups and proficiency levels. Currently, I teach English to Grades 7 to 10, guiding students through critical stages of their academic and personal development. What are A-levels?
A-level stands for ‘advanced level’, which gives you a good indication of how difficult they can be. Students usually work towards achieving their A-levels over two years, taking three or four courses in the first year of Sixth Form and three in the second year.
Are A-levels difficult?
The shift from GCSE to A-levels is huge, and many students get caught out as they’re expecting a gentle jump.
A-levels require an increased level of independence. Some kids thrive on this newfound taste of adulthood whereas others take more time to adjust.
What is an A-level exam?
A-level exams take place at the end of each year, with the second-year exam testing content from both years.
Non-exam assessments only make up 20% or less of the final grade. That’s why nailing the exams is crucial.
Who can take A-level exams?
Requirements vary between different schools and colleges, but generally speaking your child will need:
When will your child need help with their A-levels?
Many children benefit from tuition right from the start, as the jump from GCSEs is more like a vertical rock climb than a jog up a hill.
If your child struggles with planning their study time, their tutor can guide them on the best study practices and help create a learning schedule.
Why A-level private tutoring works
When should my child start revising for their A-levels?
How much time is needed will depend upon how much effort your child put in during the year and how hard they found the content. Ideally, leave at least a few months for revision and longer if they are taking more than three A-levels.
How do you revise for A-levels?
Just reading over notes and books isn’t enough to solidify information in the brain. Your child will need a study timetable so they can ensure they have time to revise everything in detail.
Our dedicated A-level online tutors will provide homework and exam papers to practise on and will keep you up-to-date on your child’s progress.
Book your free trial lesson today and breathe a sigh of relief. At GoStudent, we make sure that every one of our professional and experienced A-level tutors has been there, aced that, so your child is in safe hands.
How affordable is private A Levels tuition?
The cost of private A Levels tuition can be as low as £21.99. The price of each individual lesson is dependent on how long your child would like tuition support and how many lessons they take per week. The more they learn, the lower the price of each lesson! Why not book a free trial session for you and your child to see how we can help?
